Adorable tea rooms, situated in the quaint village of Chilham. The building is full of character (Emma and Poirot both filmed here) as are the owners, welcoming without being imposing. We had a selection of teas, hot chocolate, sandwiches, a jacket potato, and some scones. All were suitably scrummy, but the scones in particular were the highlight. Came out steaming hot, along a generous portion of clotted cream and jam–although I wouldn't have minded a bit of butter too (maybe I'm just greedy). Would love to come back soon.

This is such a lovely place! From the design to the hospitality to the food - everything was excellent. I'd recommend getting a fruit scone with clotted cream and strawberry jam in particular - so incredibly delicious. The scone was served warm and tasted just perfect. The Earl Grey tea I had with milk was amazing as well. Will definitely visit again when in the area.

We called in yesterday, group of 6 cyclists, for coffee and cake, we were met with a warm welcome on a chilly day. I had carrot cake which was fantastic and very fairly priced. hope to be back soon.

Absolutely amazing food - prepared fresh. Mindfully sourced produce. Scones and English breakfast tea are out of this world! We will most definitely be going back. Super quaint building, family friendly. Staff are a delight. We've back time and time again, and the service and food are always to the highest and most incredible quality. Scones and cakes are made fresh on site by one of the owners - the wife, and the other owner - the husband, who is normally serving, has incredible knowledge on the history of the building- which is just incredible, fascinating and so humble. It is mine, and my partner's go to tearoom within the canterbury area. Thank you to the owners and the staff for creating such a wonderful, cosy, and inviting tearoom. You are all a treasure to the hospitality industry. We look forward to our next visit already.
